Au début de l’été 2007, je suis devenu le guitariste rymthmique du Jhouse Band. Mon bagage musical est surtout le Rock, Folk et le Country Rock mais, j’aime bien aussi le Bluegrass. Lorsque j’étais mécanicien d’hélicoptère à la Baie James, dans les années 80, j’ai acheté ma première guitare acoustique et j’ai commencé à jouer dans mes temps libres. Depuis, j’apporte toujours une de mes guitares avec moi en voyage (particulièrement en vacances). Je préfère la guitare acoustique mais j’aime aussi jouer de la guitare électrique. Dernièrement, je me suis mis à la mandoline. Jethro Tull, Blue Rodeo, Jimmy Rankin, Dirt Band, et Lucinda Williams sont mes artistes favoris.
J’adore jouer de la musique; cela me change les idées. En jouant avec le J-House Band, j’agrandis mon répertoire avec les différents styles de musique: c’est génial! Merci au J-House Band de me donner l’opportunité de jouer avec du super de bon monde. Bien sur, jouer de la musique "live" avec des amis c’est toujours trippant. Au plaisir de vous rencontrer.

I joined the J-House Band early summer 2007 as a Rhythm guitar player. My background in music is mostly Rock, Folk, and Country Rock. I do also enjoy Bluegrass. In the early 80s, while working in Baie James, North of Quebec, as a Helicopter Mechanic, I bought my first acoustic guitar and learned how to play it between working hours. Since then, my guitar(s) have followed me all over, especially on vacation. Although I prefer playing acoustic guitar, I also enjoy electric guitar, and I've recently started playing the mandolin, which is also a very interesting music instrument.
Jethro Tull, Blue Rodeo, Jimmy Rankin, Dirt Band, and Lucinda Williams are some of my favorite Bands/Musicians.
Playing music is one of my favorite hobbies. It seems that you forget all your problems while doing it. Playing with the J-House Band provided me with a good opportunity to make new friends and also, bring new music styles to my repertoire and I really enjoy it. I Thank the J-House Band to let me play with them since playing live music with friends is what I really enjoy. Hope to see you out there.
